:-) thankfully my son has been able to use his Norwegian passport for now... but we will start the renewal process for his other one as soon as we are back in Thailand. Thanks for all you help! :-)

... Wow that is crazy that there is no option on that side. Imagine if you were asked to prove funds and then had no way to even withdraw cash :-/

... I live in Chiang Rai, but have been overseas for the summer. Just wanted to cover all bases and have cash on me as we fly back to Thailand... Landing in BKK. Thanks for confirming it is to be shown as cash :-)

As my son is a dual citizen. His current Thai visa is in the soon to expire passport. Could he stamp out from Thailand on that and enter a neighboring S/E Asian country on his 2nd non expiring passport?
