Anonymous participant your lucky they accepted a CBT, in the small print of most insurances I've seen it says they require a full motorbike licence, Class A, A1 or A2. Also you must be wearing a helmet.

FYI if you have UK travel insurance and you crash on your bike or in your car you will not be insured. You need a full UK motorbike and car licence.

Just pay an agent so you don't have to bother with all the hassle, yeah of course you pay more but you will save on time and effort.

not as far as I know, it doesn't say anything like that on the visa or in anything I have seen. I'll let you know in 90+ days 🙂

as the other person said, it makes the other visas look stupid now and they will lose all that visa money. I hope I am wrong but I bet they will make it more difficult. Why would anyone pay for the Elite visa now when you can have this visa at a fraction of the cost, why apply for the retirement visa with all the stupid requirements and 90 day reporting, why do border runs on the TR (multiple entry) visa every 60 days.

The visa is too good and makes all the other visas look rubbish now, my guess is they will make it a lot more difficult to apply and qualify.

I think it won't change things too much to be honest, I know lots of remote workers who worked out there on other visa types (TR, ED, etc.), now they are just making it legal.

it could be that I have applied for several visas in the past, so they have a lot of my information already and I am just confirming the details. Or it could be that I phoned the embassy up and asked what documents were required and provided this plus a lot extra just to be sure.
