what? Yes I live here and have a Thai wife. If you think a valid suggestion to someone asking about a bank account with a DTV is ‘most people can apply for another visa’ when that is unhelpful and factually incorrect, then I can’t help you. Offer some help and advice if you can. Only one nasty person here with nothing better to do.

you just have to accept it. Once you are 50 it’s easy enough to apply outside, get an account and then get an extension of stay. I don’t think they are stupid - it’s their country, their rules. Same as every other country.

Yes. I only showed it at the time of applying. I wasn’t asked to show it for a period of time.
