compulsory basic training. They have for UK where motorcycle accidents are 2% of total. They don’t have in Thailand where motorcycle accidents are 80% of total!!!

when I lived in the UK about 8 years ago I was paying the equivalent of 1200 baht a cut. I dread to think how much now.

No problem but check the agreement you sign at the Amphur. There is a section to discuss finance arrangements and there is a box for no financial payment. If you have kids it can be complicated.

Basically she will own any land you have bought and you should agree to share and assets like car etc. Give her the motorbike if you have one. She will also have to choose which name she reverts to maiden or with your permission can keep yours ( good if kids involved). Close any bank accounts sharing proceeds.

Your marriage visa will expire on divorce I believe so you should replace it with another visa.

You need a motorbike licence. They are seperate from cars in Thailand.

I am sorry for your loss.

I must state that I am not qualified under any us jurisdiction but I believe if the will is valid then it will be the prime source of evidence in any case. My view is that if he fathered a child with you and that child is under 18 or in full time education then an amount may be claimed for them (around 200k $ I think.

Also if you contributed to the home you own or any business you established in Thailand then you may have a potential right to a share of that.

Once you spend a few days in Vietnam you will be thinking why the guck do I need a Thai visa!! Wonderful friendly place with none of the stupid rules and regulations and most of them speak English as well!!
