Hello everyone. I have just completed a border bounce . The reason I had to leave was that I finished my job after 2 years. Never had a single covid extension. Anyway just got back from Cambodia PP city. I flew on the 25th and came back the 28th. For Cambodia, the airport arrival went kind of smoothly. The guy who did my ATK test was very aggressive and rude. Despite this everyone on the plane was told to go after 10 minutes so we were all negative. I stayed at a lovely hotel called Botique Vacation in the heart of PP and the staff were great. The next morning I went to get tested at the Inter Medical centre. I found this place to be a little disorganized but I got my RT PCR done by midday. I spent the next 2 days sight seeing. PP was lively but I didn't party because of course I didn't want to test positive for covid. I enjoyed the sights and dined in outside restaurants that practised social distancing. When picking my negative RT PCR test up I noticed that the paperwork was wrong but they corrected it quickly. When leaving Cambodia I had to present all my test and go paperwork at check in. They checked for an onward flight and I had to show a copy of my Cambodian e Visa when leaving. On entering Thailand, despite always having a longterm Visa and no covid extensions, I was grilled a little as to why I didn't have a visa. The onward ticket I booked as a precaution saved the day. So anyone entering regardless of their history, it is much better to come in on a tourist visa or another Visa rather than visa exempt. I wasnt the only one that was grilled. Others that had stopped working and left or stopped studying and bounced back were quizzed. I have longterm Visa options so that's why I just bounced back in 30 days. I'm at the 1 day detention hotel now. In all it hasn't been awful, but it isn't over yet. I enjoyed PP but could never really relax. With all the stress I wouldn't have bothered comming to Thailand for a holiday. Just doesn't seem worth it but after living here for 13 years and not getting my new paperwork in time, I had no choice.

unfortunately you need to appy for an e Visa to enter Cambodia. You can only fly in. If you need some more info on this you can PM me. I got mine approved on 24 hours but it can take longer.

I just asked an agent for test and go and they said there was no specific amount of days under the new rules so that I could return in a few days but don't quote me on this
