While extending my SETV at Kanchanaburi Immigration, they couldn't find me on the system, I hadn't been correctly registered by my hotel. After trying and failing to get in touch with the hotel over the phone, I was advised to walk around the side to the TM30 registration office (not sure of correct name but that's what they do) Nice lady there asked me a couple of questions, updated my status on the system and handed me a registered certificate to take back to immigration main office. A little patience and a smile goes a long way to getting a little extra help. In and out in less than 30 mins

I was in and out of Kanchanaburi Immigration for a visa extension in less than 30 minutes this morning. Even sorted out a minor problem with my hotel not registering me on the system correctly. Very helpful staff. While I was waiting another ferrang came in and immediately started complaining to me about how slow they were and how terrible the staff were, as if they couldn't overhear him. I think he will probably be there all day.
