Anonymous participant For most of us there is no issue. For digital nomads would this be the original letter from HR? I think others are just highlighting that this is most likely not the case. So far, the only people who have seem to be stopped are those who were already having issues prior to getting a DTV and/or didn’t start to IO that they had a DTV when presenting their passport.

- You are actually incorrect. According to various embassies, there is additional vetting for certain nationalities, which is why they say rhe process takes longer. In addition to the review conducted by the embassy, they are required to get reviewed/approved by a central office in Bangkok.

- Ok, previously, you mentioned it had gone to the consular department in Bangkok and that the embassy said they have no say. I assumed it was the consular department in Bangkok that rejected your application.
