I submitted the application, photo, copy of passport photo page, bank statements for last 6 months, letter from employer with job title, salary, etc. and my rental agreement in Phnom Penh, plus $400.
It looks like the Thai consulate in Kazakhstan is not part of the e-visa system. Did you receive a receipt with a date that tells you when to pick up your passport? Confusing though Becusae you said you applied online.
Just to clarify, 60 day free exemption is not for everyone. They have increased the list of countries, but you still need to check to make sure your country is on the visa exemption list
- You just need to be careful. You don’t want the embassy to make any assumptions, that you plan to conduct retreats or sessions in person, in Thailand. Maybe show the location of your precious retreats somehow.
- I applied for the visa in person at an embassy (not e-visa), so when I received my passport back from the embassy, they had attached a traditional full page visa (DTV type printed on it). Only those who go the evisa (online) route receive a pdf
