My marriage documents have already been authenticated by the Singapore Embassy, Bangkok as we married in Sungapore additionally the first available appointment is the 23 of April so I can no way meet the minimum 15 days for the application and I'll be over the 30 days for a tourist VISA -- this just does not make sense, in effect it is impossible to do!! I'm stunned dead on this.

My wife just did this at HQ Bangkok immigration @Lak Si (Chaeng Watthana) - they seem to be holding a 1 week timeline not 24 hours as I was over this, but again depends on the officer..

it seems the marriage VISA does not actually exist then, its just merely an extension of stay on the type-0 based on marriage for a further 365 days minus the 90 days in the 1st year (inclusive of 90 reporting) then re-apply the extension based on marriage every year.. phew!

I have to apply for a 90 day Non-O VISA 1st? Does this mean I cannot apply for a marriage VISA until after this... this is so confusing...

Yes, my WP is cancelled and Extension to stayhas now got a VOID stamp, I went to Mae Sai and returned with a valid 30 Tourist Visa from Myanmar ... so I have got to move fast

Its a never ending farce to get anything here... SCB Bank is what I use, people say they only accept Bangkok Bank!! Crazy rules here. If I'm doing a bank update - is this not proof to re enforce the statement or am I being to binary for the IO office.
