its allowed anyway, although not the usual way they like it. I have a bank now but for some reason when I first started doing the visa and i got the first stamp which should allow me to open a bank and deposit the money, none of them let me. I went back to immigration and explained and was told i can deposit to my wifes bank account aslong as it shows that the money came from me, then as soon as my Non O was sorted I opened a bank instantly. Sending the requirement money to your wife/husband is not something they tell you about straight away as they want the visa applicant to have the bank in their own name but obviously because i had issues doing so thats when they told me i could do it that way. When it came to renewal at end of the first year i just used my own account and have done since.

why would they want proof it comes from a pension? We are talking about Non O marriage visa not the retirement one so they wont care where its from. I did my Non O with 400k deposit into my wife's scb and they know it just come from wages/savings. I'm only 33 so they know i wouldn't be claiming pension. However, I was not aware you could deposit 40k a month for the first year and use that ongoing so thanks for that, wish i knew before haha. I send my wife around 100k a month but for living so it gets used, would the 40k a month have to be untouched im guessing for the full year?

you can only do this with an affidavit from your country to prove your salary, most countries no longer provide these.

you still have to pay the overstay fine even if she was to go get an extension so what would be the point in that? Cost less to do it at airport and just pay the 2500 fine

The fight will be on around 4.30am bkk time, Sportsman on soi 13 is your best shot. Or get yourself a firestick with everything on for like £50-£60 a year and watch it in your room.

granted, but it basically is a certainty aslong as you dont have overstay. I did over a year on tourist visas doing border runs/extensions and never been refused an extension, never even been questioned by immigration during an extension either

Dont panic, aslong as they have the 60 day stamp, immigration will extend it for the 30 days no problem.

If you mean her tourist visa to the UK, no you cant extend it she has to return and reapply for another tourist visa
