Can I use the Thai immigration lane if I'm entering Thailand with my Thai girlfriend on a DTV visa?

I have always been welcome to go through the Thai line with my Thai wife.

Until my last entry at DMK we went to the Thai line and was told go to foreigners both of you.

My wife told the IO we are always allowed to go through the Thai line.

She said rule change now that was in August.
