I am in the same situation. I listed myself as unemployed on the application (soft power MT). They asked me to show proof of how I earned the money/proof that the money was legitimate. As well they asked how I was planning to support myself past the initial 6mo. I wrote a letter explaining my what my employment was (I work based on contracts in the US) and I sent them 6mo of Pay stubs from my last contract. I was accepted in HCMC
