India has 17 "scheduled languages" and cultures. India is a continent, not just a state.

In Thai, they do not want to pay for English classes if they are not taught by a native speaker, a white teacher, be it from England or Ireland, Scotland.

I read maybe 10 years ago, big Indian outsorcers, got 1.2 million jobs to cater for Western companies, Insurance, Banks, Mobile providers companies, call centres.

Out of 1.2 million positions, they (InfoSys, TATA Consulting), their leaders said "We are competent but we can not get the accents right".

They outsourced (to subcontractors) companies from the Philipines, with a neutral accent, 800 thousands of those jobs to the Philipines, from India.

No. To get a chepaer elderly health care, some American Health Insurance companies give a big discount if you are insured with them and accept to undergo medical treatment in Malaysia or Thailand.

A pensioner visa with Thai insurance would bring you nearly there.

Some, oldies that I know of, on pensioner visa, get a maid that comes some hours a day, about 10,000 THB a month . Live in, goes up to 30,000 THB a month.

Medical visa is for hospitals like Bumrungrad where the treatment allows even family members to cling on it, 6 months max. Mostly Arabs use that.

Never done that and got married legally in Bangkok. Never heard of what you are talking about.

The fellow is following his heart, we are just telling the legals around it.

You need your "No impediment to marriage" or whatever it is called where you are cerificate. No divorce papers.

An agency can do that in 2 days (all the translations, officially stamped) they can even bring 2 witneseses when you marry.

My official Thai marriage was at the Sathorn City Council, Bangkok.

Marriage visa: if something tragic happens to your wife (sickness, motor bike accident) you have 72 hours to leave Thailand, leaving the children (if you have them) behing and come back on another visa.
