yup me too. Until a third entity overseas prevented my funds from reaching my wife's thai bank account. You would think going from bank to bank wouldn't be a problem. But noooooo!!!
remitly canceled my account a year ago without a reason. I would send over about $2,000 usd monthly without any issues. Then one day my transfer didn't go through after a week. They requested tons of documents to ensure I wasn't non compliant with their rules. I provided all, but they canceled my account.
wow. Amazing how this nonsense is permitted. I used to have remitly, then one day they held my transfer. Asked for a bunch of documents to ensure it was a legal transaction. I complied with all their requests. Yet they didn't let my transfer go through. Luckily they returned my funds.
I went to get my Thailand motorcycle certificate at Honda Bigwing in Phuket. Once I received the certificate, I learned about the resident certificate. Apparently I need a resident certificate before the land office gives me the Thailand motorcycle driving license. Is the immigration office the only place to get the resident certificate? I've never heard of a resident certificate until now. And, I'm married to a thai national with a thai bank account already. Not once have ove been asked for a resident certificate. Only now that I'm going to obtain my thai motorcycle driving license.
going from a marriage visa to a retirement visa, did it require you to get another 90day non 0 visa before getting the retirement visa? Or did you just get a 90 day non 0 visa, then do the marriage visa extension, then just straight into the retirement visa from the marriage visa without needing another non 0?
