Just to be clear: I have not put the 800k is in the account yet. The quotation from the Koh Phangan agent (40k) assumes 800k of my own money is in the bank account.

 I haven't been able to find any agent that made it a better deal to use an agent. Interest rates in Europe are max 4% and getting lower.
