Do I need to visit immigration before leaving Thailand with a DTV visa?

My passport also expires during the 5-year validity of my DTV, and that's noted (in Thai) on the visa. I printed it out as
@James *******
 rightly suggests. Since regulations seem to be fluid with this visa, I will check with the Thai government before I renew my passport.
