ah OK thanks. I have had a guardian before. And don't remember the 30 day consideration. Ah well, I will have to plan a bit then and see if I can be around for this date. Not always easy with covid restrictions in certain countries.

thanks James. It was more due to last year. We got the visa issued. But had to return to immigration on an exact day, with no flexibility on their side.

Fortunately I was still in Thailand. But more down to luck than anything.

I am on marriage visa now. But want to change to the guardian visa. So I am pretty sure I can. It was just the funds needed for how long before.

My daughter is English. Not half thai.

I want to change away from marriage visa as I travel in and out of Thailand. And its less time restrictive to be on a guardian visa.

Yep. But I presume the stamp would be dated the 2nd. As you exit though immigration on the 2nd.
