Actually that was my question, maybe I was not clear at the beginning.
So before this automatic gates, each immigration officer could make decision to let you in or not let you in. If automatic gates will make that decision by itself, means we can clearly know which criteria we have to meet to enter without drama or additional questioning.
I am wondering, how they plan to control people with a lot of entries with visa exemption then. Or people who spend a lot of time in Thailand in one calendar year.
I plan to stay at around 4 - 5 months in Thailand ,do you think I will have problem if I use visa exception 2 times (2+3 months). Between 2 exceptions I plan to spend around 1 week outside of Thailand and then come back.
Yes ,I can use visa exception,my country is on the list which is recently updated.
How about flight 90 days after entrance (exemption 60 days + extension 30 days),is that allowed? Or I need flight within 60 days and change my flight later after I extend exemption?
There are 2 flying seasons, from October to April and April to Oct. You are trying to see the price in the second one but flights for that season are still not 100% defined and final, and in that case prices are probably higher. After they(airlines) release final schedule then prices could drop and then will be high or low only because of seats availability on specific date. I assume, you can expect Jun/July price below 1000$ in March/April/May. It's good to buy in advance but not too early.
Congrats! But my advice is not to post pictures like that in any social media or public groups. Because your application number is visible, your name as well. Not all people are good in this world, just friendly saying.
