I got mine in Bangkok. It takes an hour Just to be processed after you have queued. Then its a 2 week wait for the document

I heard that you should also report if you just go away for a long weekend for example. If you stay in a hotel the hotel reports that you are there so when you return you should report as back at your address

Even if address is the same you have to report that you are back at that address

It is only the landlords responsibility when you move in. My landlord didn't know this at the time and when I did a visa extension I had to cover the fine as he was away. If you leave the country and come back it is up to you to report I think. They can. I'm leaving at some point and my landlord said he will report for me as I'll be jetlagged but it is my responsibility then not his.

If you leave and come back you out landlord should report to immigration. They register you when first move in but still have to report within 24 hours that you are back
