30 day visa extension at koh samui. Do you get extension from the date it's extended at visa office or is 30 days added to current visa expiry date?

Answer summary

When applying for a 30-day visa extension in Koh Samui, the extension is added to your current 'admitted to stay' stamp, meaning it is calculated based on the expiry date of your existing visa rather than the date of application.

It's added to your current addmited to stay stamp not from the day you apply. By the way, it's not a visa you got, it's a visa exempt stamp.
