Are there cooking schools in Thailand offering 6-month courses for the DTV visa, and what are their costs?

yeh one of the ones was a 4 month Muay Thai course and they said get an ED instead as a 4 month course doesn’t warrant having a 5 year multi entry visa. I think we’ll see that a lot tbh because people will be trying to buy short courses to get a 5 year visa. Maybe I’m wrong but we’ll see I guess

People have been refused DTV’s and told to apply for ED visa’s in some cases so I would start spending money on a 6 month course if it’s only trying to get a DTV 🤷‍♂️

don’t need a visa at all to open a bank with an agent. Visa exempt stamp is fine. I can’t speak for every agent but 2 I use in Pattaya don’t require a visa

True. I opened one on an exempt at the exchange tower in Bangkok many years ago but stupidly didn’t keep money in it so lost it and didn’t have any luck after that so used an agent
