 I know one can really answer. I was just hoping someone may have been through something similar to see if they actually got approved. I have thought as a last option we may have to do an Elite visa just for him.

 I did think about but the requirements seem more difficult. Documentation from our home country physician and the documentation for a Dr in Thailand. If that doesn't work out for him and now the rest of the family are already in Thailand on a DTV.
