on ‘manage my booking’ page - there is an option to buy more hand luggage and costs the same as 20kg checked bag. Try Google? - perhaps you’ll get a link.

Yes they check and it’s expensive to pay at check in. Pay for an extra 7kgs hand luggage on your booking.

So strict? - if flight leaves at 2am technically the holder is leaving on the 8th if they Check in and clear immigration on the 8th.

Once married - rules are different. She can attach to your retirement non o visa, as a dependent. I’m almost certain the 800k required doesn’t apply for her.

It’s hidden - follow the taxi signs and pass the first queue. The meter taxi is quite a walk away.

Is it normal for Phuket immigration to request I return on the last day of my visa extension to pick up my Non-O visa?

It hasn’t been ‘approved’ as yet, it’s pending… On the last day (I don’t know why it’s the last day) it will be given and If not, you’ll receive a 7 day exit visa. Just been through the same and they kept my passport from Friday until Monday.
