@Jessie *****
you’ve been out of Thai for quite a while this year therefore just fly out to for example KL - I’d recommend getting a 60 day TR visa for the Thai embassy in KL.

IMO you shouldn’t have any problems coming back in on a TR visa but just to be more sure if you can don’t use Phuket or Don Mueng. Krabi is much better to do from experience.

cheers for the reply.

Can you elaborate a little more on it?

@James *******
thank.

She (Russian passport holder) isn’t but she still needs to leave and come back whether on visa or 90 day stamp on arrival.

Myself (UK passport holder) is the ED visa (with the extensions 1 year in total) and a previous TR visa from back in 2022. I wasn’t in Thailand before or during covid - only way back in 2017 for a couple of weeks.

I have an appointment yes. Yes I’ve already got all paperwork ready as per the requirements on the official website.

Regarding the flying, I wasn’t aware there is increased risk from flying rather than driving.

If all the paperwork is in place and the visa is granted etc then it shouldn’t be an issue?

Cheers.

one more thing also, I can still extend a 2 month tourist visa from a consulate at immigration office by an additional 30 days, right?

if the extension is cancelled before I leave, wouldn’t that make me an overstayer? Or they give a few days?

thanks for your info 👍

Can it be cancelled in a different immigration office? Or must it be the same as we’d ideally not go back to the same area where we’ve been studying.
