Definitely. If you tell the tuktuk driver you need to go to "Thai visa", they'll take you to the right place :)

You shouldn’t have any issues on domestic flights. My son (5 years old) has no visa to Thailand, and I do. We flew internally a few times.

I suggest hiring a lawyer to do all this for you. We did it and it was a very easy process.

You could also ask your hotel to make copies for you. Usually they’ll do that for free. And then take the photo tomorrow at the consulate :)

You could do that at the consulate tomorrow! Copies are 5 baht and I don’t know how much they charge for photos.
