I normally just travel with a small backpack ,so good to know air Asia Fly between the two ..last time outward flight from Thailand 3 kg return from Vietnam 7kg because of coffee …Penang has some high quality rare whisky shops ,so it’s on my radar agsin ….any hotels yoj would recommend
Thanks for your reply .,very informative..
Just checked the price of your man ,,,not much more than a flight ..hats his details please ..I’m not in a rush to go Penang or hat yai ,,big it’s on the horizon innthe next few years especially at high polution times in Chiang mai ,,thanks
not sure but brickfields ( little India ) and China town are the two cheapest areas ..little India won it for me as the train stops there ,,like I said ,..space hotel KL SENTRAL
Beware you need to pay 55 ringlet each way on the train ..but like I said food is cheap and I wanted South Indian food for a few days
Plenty cheap accomodation in the brick fields area ,15-25 usd a night ..shuttle express train right into the brick fields …1 minute outside lots of hotels ..great Indian food ar around 30 - 50 baht ..space capsule hotel for a night is good be aware there is a tourist tax for everybody and it’s higher at the weekends
Same .had the DTAC printed out ,,she didnt want to see it ,though I had it in front of her stamped in ..checked passport ,,wrong stamp haha ,,back to immigration she said “ you should have shown me the Dtac “haha
it was a longer visa ..even though that was stated on the tdac and the officer confirmed that when I went back to correct the stamp ,,,still check your stamp is what I’m suggesting to people….wasnt such a big deal at Don Muang as there was very few people there when I arrived ,,might have been more stressful at bigger airports
