that’s what I was thinking. I just wanted to confirm that you get the same treatment on the way in again!🙂

Thanks everyone. The reason I’m asking is if I just get an internal extension I’ll end up overstaying the extension by 4 days! I booked my flight before I knew about the new 60 days on arrival and so just assumed that I’d have to do a vis run after one extension as I’m here for 3 months ( and 4 days!)

A thought- can you get a 2 month visa in Dublin before you go? We can in Australia but you need to do it more than 2 weeks before you go

-that’s a shame. I guess it’s best to play it safe.

- where are you flying from? The only issue about changing your flight is that it will cost you!

As I said the Thai Air staff had no issue at all any of the times we flew with them and there have been many!

- the Thai Air staff didn’t ask to see a visa or our return ticket.

Interestingly, the first time we came the first leg of our flight was a domestic flight in Australia and the desk clerk questioned us about having a return ticket in 2 months time when we didn’t have a 2 month visa. We had to convince her that we knew since we’d done it before, that we could get an extension of 30 days. So that was a bit stressful because she didn’t believe us and spent a lot trying to read the rules!!!!

We’re flying with Thai Air both times and they didn’t ask but then they would’ve seen the bookings.
