ahhh, I didn’t factor in the $400 visa app fee so I get what you’re saying. Just make sure you inquire with the dental office to ensure the treatment you need will justify the DTV so you don’t have any issues. Great luck to you my friend!
So after I paid the deposit and sent them proof via WA, it took about 2 days for them to email me documents I needed to submit to apply. The documents they sent were the receipt of my deposit, my acceptance letter, a four-page document in Thai, a copy of the administrator’s ID and the menu itinerary. I personally didn’t submit the menu itinerary document because it was 22 pages so I just combined the other four documents into one PDF and uploaded that as proof.
I’d round up to about $1,200 USD, not $1,500 but I see your point. I couldn’t think of a medical treatment that would require me to get a visa, and there was a Muay Thai option I could have chosen that’s 30,000 THB but based on my age, I felt the cooking course was the safest option for me.
thank you!! And my purpose was the Thai soft power related activity. I’ll be taking a cooking class, which I’m very excited about, with the Bangkok Thai Cooking Academy.
