It probably depends on your age and your outlook ….. I’d go for Chiang Mai , a good and uncrowded international airport … good connections for Indochina and Yunnan …. The burning season might not be pretty but it’s nothing like a Delhi Nov/Dec , and worth remembering ten of millions of people dealing with smoke and dust everyday of there lives with out access to apps that just serve to make it sound worse that it is . Chiang Mai diverse … Samui one trick pony !
