I am not talking about the auto-gates. Every departing passenger can use those auto-gates

@Greg *******
yes I was referring to the separate immigrations area at each end of Suvarnabhumi Airport that is reserved for Business, First, wheelchair access. There are now auto-gates in this as well as the regular departure area. DTV holders can use this Fast Track lane to leave the country

@Greg *******
yes I showed her my DTV and she let me in through Fast Track. She confirmed that it is considered a "long stay" visa

Anonymous participant yes contract required for dtv application

I wouldn't confess or admit to anything in the application that will disqualify you from the DTV application. The staff in Taipei had questioned why I had visited Thailand already on multiple occasions. I always sticked to "visiting friends" or "learning diving" knowing that my application will be rejected if she caught me admitting I was working all this time. For an evisa this could be dicey if the embassy insists you scan all of the entry stamps in your entire passport for the application.

Told to collect my passport 4pm the next day after the Taipei office accepted my documents in that afternoon. Won't be the same after they move to the evisa system
