Thank you so much. That clarifies it. Wasn't sure if under consideration stamp counts already as part of the extension.

Thank you again, but what I mean is.

My old yearly extension ( marriage) runs out on July 15.

Under Consideration stamp for covid extension is until July 29.

If I were to leave the country on July 24, would I be on overstay?
Timo ******
@Benjamin *****
thank you. But my question was, if the 29th of July is my new date, I have to leave by. I might have to leave the country, urgently.

Hi everyone,

May I ask a follow up question.

I have now received my under consideration stamp until 29.july for the covid extension.

Is this valid as new date until I have to leave the country or is it still the old date until the covid extension is fully approved?

Thank you.
Timo ******
Thank you for your reply,

May I ask, how the difference in applying for either is?

It would be ideal for me to be able to save the extension based on visiting family.

My issue is, that my bank (UOB) wants me to drive all the way to Bangkok to receive the letter of proof of funds. It's a 6 hour round trip. I have already placed some funds in a bank with a branch near us, but it won't reach maturity until 80 days from now.

Sorry for not being clear. TM30 ( foreigner in residence form).

Looks like I have to go to 2 separate places then. What order do you suggest to do these 3 things?

1. Change stamp to new passport.

2. File TM30 and pay fine

3. 1 year extension.

Or does any other order make more sense?

Thank you, Tod.

Another question. What's the fine for failing to report address and can this be done at Chaengwatthana too?
