Thanks all for kind words and reassurance! I dont think anyone was mean 🤣. Feeling confident now and have realised despite all these recent stories about people being giving a hard time im not aware of one person with DTV actually being denied entry so I think we safe for now

 thanks that's very reassuring, I thought there was something about earning 1500 monthly but maybe that was a specification of a particular embassy when applying rather than hard requirement

 thanks rent is low and happy dipping into my savings now to enjoy travel in first 6 month so no scares about quality of life, just so long immigration dont say im not working. But self employment is often intermittent and someone said theres no minimum required monthly earning so I think I misunderstood something there!

 appreciate this as biggest challenge being freelancer coming off being an employee is actually getting out and finding the work rather than waiting for it to come to you. But plenty of opportunities to help people for who can be bothered to look!
