I don't suppose you know where you saw that list?

Curious to know what the options are for my parents when they arrive soon.

supposed to report it in the MorChana app. When I came last month I wasn't given any instructions about it though.

This time hotel telling me I need the MorChana app but it won't recognise my Thailand Pass. So good luck getting me to report it that way.... 🙄

The test and go rules were always a self administered rapid antigen test and you are supposed to report the results in the MorChana app.

The new rules will be a PCR instead of the antigen test for any new arrival to Thailand, regardless of when your Thai pass went it. These rules won't come into affect though until the royal gazette is published.

about the only thing I'd beleive from the Aust Govt was the number of deaths of people *with* COVID (not necessarily from COVID). If they could have, they'd have reported higher numbers to justify their restrictions.

never said I liked the Govt. But it's still considered a western country and has lower death rate.

if in doubt try checking Wikipedia:

In modern usage, Western world refers to Europe and to areas whose populations largely originate from Europe, through the Age of Discovery's imperialism.

"The fact is that Thailand has managed to keep their severe illness and mortality rate way below all Western countries"

Well this is quite frankly wrong.

Last I checked Australia is a western country and never had anywhere near the level of deaths Thailand did.

I'm sure there's other countries that also did better.

Just to clarify, it's only a 72 hour window AFTER the original boarding time.

Singapore Airlines just denied boarding me on a flight to Phuket 1 day ahead of the original flight.

Partner in Thailand rang consular services and they confirmed changes are only allowed same day or 72 hours after original flight.
