 we were thinking that. Can you buy those online before we travel?

Also if we manage to get a 90 day or 6 month visa do they still require a return ticket? Some airlines don't have their schedule that far ahead.

One other question when you land do you need to show a return ticket? We won't have one as not yet sure when we are returning and from which country.

As Canadians do we get the 60 day visa when we arrive in Thailand then get the extra 30 after that?
