I assumed one price for the 3 years. You can do a lot of travelling for that sort of money. Rent somewhere in bkk say 6000 baht a month and use that as you base.
10 years ago it was easy to get the "visiting wife's family in Thailand" visa at the consulate of course I don't have a family in Thailand for her to visit so she couldn't get one. She didn't get any nasty stamp in her Aussie passport. But they didn't want to accept her Thai passport. They told her to "lose it". We had no time to argue.

Malaysia they give you 90 days. But no end date. You have to work it out yourself. Bit like the constipated mathematician. He worked it out with a pencil. 555
that's right. Often if you ask a Thai how old they are they will tell you their age for their next birthday. So you're right. Born on your first birthday.
