HUA HIN IMMIGRATION OFFICE
It's good to be able to report another efficient service from my local office and Immigration Officials.
Got my Non O (90 days) ago and today applied for a 1 year Extension of Stay based on Retirement as well as Single Re-entry Permit and also updated my address via TM28.
Arrived at 10.00 and mine and partner's all done by 11.00. Officer explained 90 reporting and the need to keep address updated.
My experience tells me that following the checklist provided is key and was straightforward.
Free coffee and water too in a modern air-conditioned building!
I have experience of a Thai family member navigating the UK Home Office immigration system which is at best described as "difficult" and at worst "hostile", and believe me the processes here are simpler, supportive and very (very!) much cheaper.
I have learnt a great deal from this group and would like to thank the administrators and those that contribute for their guidance.
