FYI. Samui IMM was full yesterday. Plan your visit carefully. They have own TM.7 and TM.2 forms. Very slowly, but politely. Thanks for the advice to apply for a new retirement visa in advance. I have to come back to pick up my passport in a week. And my wife will have only three days left until her visa expired.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Samui Immigration Office was very busy, and it's important to plan your visit carefully. They provide their own TM.7 and TM.2 forms and the service is slow but polite. It's advised to apply for a new retirement visa in advance, especially since passport pickup may be required after a week. Be mindful of visa expiration dates, as noted by the user's wife with only three days left on her visa.
