It's soon time for my LTR one year reporting at OSOS. Is this an easy process?
Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The one year reporting process at OSOS for the Long Term Resident visa (LTR) is generally considered straightforward. Most users report that it involves simply visiting the local immigration office and informing them of the reporting. However, challenges may arise if the office is unfamiliar with the visa type. Additionally, it is noted that if the holder has left the country and re-entered, their reporting year resets.
LONG TERM RESIDENT (LTR) VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
You walk into your local immigration office and tell them you’re doing your one year report. If, like me, they’ve never seen that visa before it’ll take a few extra minutes. Done. Of course if you’ve left the country and returned your year resets so you may never set foot in an immigration office again.
Although to be clear, I’ve never stayed in Thailand for a year consecutively. I’ve always taken vacations to neighboring countries so I guess I’ve never actually done a one-year report. But local immigration put a date card in the back of my passport so I showed up before that date and all they did was give me a new date card, one year out from my latest entry which rendered the previous date card out of date.
no, it is retirement visa. Not long term retirement visa (Non-O or OA) ...or long term visa (Non-O/A/X). LTR is completely didifferent. That is the problem with calling it something other than what it is.
