hey guys! I'm 5 months into my DTV and staying in Hua Hin with my wife and 2 kids (also on DTV via me)

I need to do a border run in a month and right now we aren't feeling like taking a holiday in a nearby country like I originally planned. does anyone know the best / quickest way to just re-enter? I hear the renewal process is very tedious and not worth it?

I think the ranong crossing into Myanmar is the closest? also is there any kind of fee to pay to cross or come back? I know there is all these border run services that are asking for 5k+ per person, wondering if that's because they are doing something extra for the 30/60 day that we don't need? thank you, Thailand is amazing!!! love from an Aussie family in Thailand.

Question. I’ve paid THB2000 when applying for my non-o visa Dependants Visa . I go back to immigration in 2 weeks after it’s processed.

We were told at the time , immigration will do a house visit to confirm my address with my Thai wife. They are coming this morning before 12noon. My wife took the call and was told another THB2000 is due when they visit. I cannot see anywhere to say this is true. Can anyone confirm if I should be paying another THB2000 for this immigration home visit? It might be they have got confused with the original 2000 I paid when submitting application with paperwork. Help please

Border Bounce for DTV from Pattaya - why are van companies charging more for DTV border bounces to Cambodia than normal visa runs? The van company in Soi 6 at Queen Victoria Inn charges 3,900 baht for a normal visa run but if you've got a DTV it's 5,700 baht because the border officials require more money because you get 180 days with a DTV. Anyone else experiencing the same when doing DTV bordet bounces?
