Hi All,

I am currently on a one-year Single Entry Visa based on marriage. I'm wondering if it's possible for me to apply for a Multiple re-entry Permit at the Immigration Office in Chamchuri Square Building.

Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about applying for a Multiple Re-Entry Permit at the Chamchuri Square Immigration Office while holding a one-year Single Entry Visa based on marriage. A comment clarifies that such matters should be directed to the Chaengwattana office for permits related to a Non-O visa or extension granted based on marriage to a Thai citizen. The comment also notes that there is no official one-year Single Entry Visa, prompting the user to review their visa status and understand the different visa types they may have.

Chamchuri office wouldn't handle anything related to visas or extensions based on being married to a Thai. You have to go to the Chaengwattana office to get a re-entry permit on your Non-O-based visa or extension.

BTW, There is no such thing "one-year Single Entry Visa". Please check your visa and admitted-to-stay stamp and know what you really have.

Possibly, one of:

- 1-year extension based on being married to a Thai from the local immigration office.

- Multiple Entry Non-O visa based on being married to a Thai from the Thai embassy or consulate outside Thailand valid for 1 year with 90 days for each entry,

- Single Entry Non-O visa based on being married to a Thai from the Thai embassy or consulate outside Thailand valid for 3 months with 90 days for an entry,

Thank you
@Ellie ******
for the prompt response. I got the "THAI WIFE" 1 year extension from Cengwattana office. My visa also has a stamp that says "Please contact the Immigration office for a RE-ENTRY PERMIT Before leaving Thailand".

Guess I will have to go to Chaengwattana office to process the re-entry permit then.

Thank you once again.
