Currently in Belgium I am applying for a Non Immigrant visa O. This one is only valid for 90 days, and single entry.

Where can I extend my visa to 1 year, and with Multiple Re-entry. Thank you in advance for responses.

Ik vraag momenteel in België een Non Immigrant visum O aanvragen. Deze is slechts geldig voor 90 dagen, en single entry.

Waar kan ik mijn visum verlengen naar 1 jaar, en met een Multiple Re-entry.  Alvast hartelijk dank voor reacties.

Ik ben naar hier gekomen met dat non o visum single entry (die multi bestaat niet meer) en dan ben ik naar immigration gegaan en mijn thai wife visum aangevraagd en ook bekomen. Laat je niet gek maken door mensen die zeggen dat het moeilijk is. Of neem geen bureau die het voor je regelt. Bij immigration haal je de nodige documenten en je zorgt dat je van alles meerdere kopieën hebt, nieuwe foto's, en bij immigration zijn er altijd mensen aanwezig die jou gratis helpen om alles netjes in te vullen. Het is aan jou om ze te bedanken uit het zicht. Groetjes

Once you are in Thailand and have 30 days or less left on your current stamp you go to immigration for a 12 month extension of stay but note you will need funds in a Thai bank for 2 calendar months before you apply so you need to get on with opening a bank account soon after arrival

As Stuart says, and you can get a multiple re-entry permit at the same time for 3800 baht.

Ok then you won’t need anything from Belgium to get a local extension. You will need a Thai bank account and 800k deposited for at least 2 months prior to applying. There will be other forms to fill and things to get from your bank etc, but these vary from office to office which is why I suggest you contact them for their list.

Ik ben 2 weken geleden in een kasikorn bank in Lam Luk Ka geweest. Zij hebben mijn paspoort, visum en verblijfsplaats nodig. Dan wordt er dadelijk een rekening geopend voor mij, en dan kan ik onmiddellijk het geld via wise doorstorten naar de Thaise rekening .

Be careful with a Wise transfer. Some immigration offices require the money to be shown as a foreign transfer (FET). Wise transfers may well show as a domestic transfer. Check with your immigration office to see what they require.
