TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation clarifies that there is no 1-year multiple entry permit available in Thailand. Instead, re-entry permits come as single re-entries for 1,000 baht or multiple re-entries for 3,800 baht. It also notes that the validity of a re-entry permit is tied to the duration of the current visa stamp, regardless of the purchase date.

there is no 1 year mulitple re-entry permit ๐Ÿ˜• They're sold only as a single re-entry for 1000baht or a multiple re-entry for 3800baht

A re-entry permit is only valid for the length of the current stamp you're on no matter when you buy it.
