TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can purchase a re-entry permit at the airport multiple times during the validity of a single entry non-immigrant visa, as long as your current visa stamp remains valid. The re-entry permit allows you to retain the same last date of stay as your initial entry. For frequent travel, consider getting a multiple re-entry permit.

a Single Entry Visa is stamped used on entry into Thailand and you get 90 days of Stay.
a Re-Entry Permit will give you the same last day as you got on your first entry.
If you like to leave and come back many times, by the multiple re-entry permit for 3.800 Thb

There is no limit to how many times you can apply for a single re-entry permit at any immigration office/airport as long as your current stamp is valid.
