Hello!
Forward planning advice needed please....
I am on a multi-b, next "border run" due in 11 weeks.
The company has Thai employees etc but is in process to get them all benefits from the Thai government... which involves laying them off and suspending social security.
I believe that would mean I would not be able to extend my period of stay inside Thailand at immigration (based on business).
Of course... if borders are still closed in June, I would have a problem as the border run is not possible.
The girl and I are also looking to register our marriage... if that is even possible these days re: papers / offices open etc.
Questions:
1. If we can register our marriage, is there a way to extend my stay based on that (from multi B to marriage visa or 1 month visiting wife).
1. Would I be able to extend on business with employees layed off and receiving benefits due to Corona virus.
1. Is there a smarter way that I am not thinking about!
Information:
UK passport holder.
Multi B valid until 1st December.
Entrance stamp expires 17th June.
Thank you very much
