[Is it possible to get a DTV again after converting to non-B work permit and lose DTV once?]

Hi guys, I own a DTV visa. But it is likely I will get a job in Thailand down the road, and if so I will have to lose DTV. However in the future if I quit the job and wanna be a freelancer again, as long as DTV still exists I might want it again.

So I am wondering if it is possible to get a DTV again.

I just got to Chaeng Watthana immigration to renew my covid extension (after a 1st extension last September).

They asked me my flight return ticket (that I don't have) and got rejected even if all the papers were good.

Anyone faced this situation?

Rumor on Koh Tao: “Latest from Victoria Point.. non-b work permit holders are no longer allowed to do land crossings, they have to leave and re-enter via an airport.”

Any truth to this, and is this ALL borders? Considering I can’t find a straight flight from Surrathani into Malaysia, this forces me through BKK.

(I’ve already booked transportation to cross into Malaysia by van 4 days from now.)
