Is the “Ban Muang Phrae” in Loei Province an international border or just for Thai and Lao people crossing? I need to go with a foreigner for visa run. I’m doing a search but still can’t find the needed information. Thank you.

Story with a happy ending. I finally got my retirement visa and a multi-entry renewed in Loei after 3 trips. At first they rejected the US affidavit of income not buying that it was valid for six months. Then got my residence certified as the owner had to fly up from Chonburi to appear in person for the first time. I've lived here 13 years, but now full time and no address in Bkk any longer, so that necessitated the new office. So now total Loei province with car/bank/home/ AND visas! Yea! Next year easy! So many various experiences. I live in small village in Loei Province. Since I no longer have an address in Bangkok I went to Chiang Khan immigration to see what is required to renew my retirement visa. #1 was affidavit of income from embassy. #2 was proof of address with the home owner appearing in person the first time. #3 registration as foreigner TM30. after 13 years there the owner and I went to the local district police to file such report. They had never seen one and instead wrote out all the information long hand to attach to the "forms from Bangkok". So when I go to Chiang Khan that will be my proof and of course my most recent entry/departure card. I always stay at my home and the police know. So don't bother them with coming and goings. TIT but nice 😀

Just a note when I asked about no more affidavits from UK/US she was shocked and had no idea what to do about income then--only the 800k route. We shall see....
