Does anybody have a suggestion for a background check from the USA?

It doesn't have to be all that serious nor does it have to be notarized.

The last time I had to do this, went to the local courthouse and they printed out a document that said I had no pending cases... That's all I need now.

I see there are several websites that offer the services. They are happy to take my credit card and do not mention a price... Hence, probably not a good idea.

Hello, I have a quick question that I am finding difficult to find the answer to. I've sent some emails and called some phone numbers with no success so far.

I am moving to another country that is not my home country in October and they require a national background check from Thailand since I have lived here for over 6 months in the past 5 years. One of the required documents is a, "Letter from the Embassy for Request check to objectives". Does anyone know what this means? Do I need a letter from the Embassy of the country I will be working in or the Thailand embassy? Here is a picture of the requirments I am looking at from the Police Clearence Service Center information page.

If anyone has had to do this before I would love some insight on how the process works, how long it can take and things I should be aware of.

I know I must bore you to death but I promise I tried to google it and I am getting nowhere! New question: I need a Thai police check for a job in Europe (moving in July). I know that Bangkok is the only place to get one. But what are the requirements? I found an official PDF from the Bangkok Police force with requirements but I am pretty sure that only has to do with Thailand. E.g from the requirements I found: if the police check is for a job, they require a letter or contract from the employer but I think this is from a THAI employer. I just need a paper that states that during my time in Thailand, I have been a very decent human, haha. Please help! <3🙏

Now I have questions about the background check for the O-A visa. I’ve read it can be as simple as a letter from my local police station or as formal as an FBI check. Advice?

A couple questions. 1.- We live in Florida, USA. Will a background check from the "Florida Department of Law Enforcement" be acceptable for a OA visa? Or will I need a FBI background check?" 2. - Wife has a Green Card, and a Vietnamese Passport. Her passport expires in July 2022. Will the Thai Embassy issue a OA visa to her, due to little time left on her passport? If renewing her passport before less than 6 months the cost is 3x. I have emailed the Thai Embassy, but no reply. Thanks in advance!

Do u fill out an application for a background check and then once approved u apply for a visa? Or is it straight to online application for your visa?

Question for anyone in USA who did a non O-A visa. For the background check, did you use the FBI or a state agency? I live in Montana and obtained a criminal history from a state law enforcement agency. Just wondering if anyone used a state agency for theirs and if it met the requirements. Thanks for any info
