Has someone who is a foreigner done a police record (background check) with the Thailand police clearance service for you duration of stay in Thailand (for visa purpose for visiting a third country for example)? Could you please give an advice if it's possible at all and the required documentations? Is it possible to do it by yourself or is using an agent recommended?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Foreigners can easily obtain a police clearance certificate in Thailand for visa purposes. It can be done by visiting the local police headquarters, typically near Chit Lom, and the process may take 3 to 14 days. The cost is usually around 200 baht. While some users suggest that online resources or Google searches can provide guidance, the process is straightforward enough that it can be completed independently or with the assistance of an agent.
