Do I need a background check from the Royal Thai police for an education visa, and will a misdemeanor charge affect my application?
It looks like now I need a background check from the Royal Thai police to get an education visa from the consulate/embassy.
Has anyone had to do this? It looks like they’re just doing a background check on my history in Thailand. But I’m worried because I have a misdemeanor paraphernalia charge for having a small amount of Cannibis 🍁 years ago in the United States.
It’s going to change my plans a lot if I can’t return to Thailand on an education visa. I might decide to stay in Bali or Cambodia instead.
