Do British citizens applying for a DTV visa need to maintain 500k THB for only one month and apply only from their home country?Answered

Is it true that when applying for DTV as a Brit you only need to have had the 500k+ THB in your account for 1 month? And also to confirm I MUST 100% apply from my home country now, not a border run etc? Thanks
