TLDR : Answer Summary
To transfer a child's visa to a new passport in Thailand, you typically need the following documents: 1. A letter from your embassy requesting the change from the old passport number to the new one. 2. Photocopies of each page of the old passport that has stamps or visas. 3. A photocopy of the data page of the new passport, plus photocopies of each page in the new passport that contains stamps. Then, visit the local immigration office and fill out the Transfer Stamp to A New Passport Form. There is no fee for this service.

"Should", "think", "would". Honestly, I'm not going to waste my time further trying to figure out what you have in your passport when direct answers are not being given, so I'm closing this post.

IF you have a visa ("the sticker"), you'd use both passports, and would do nothing at the immigration office.

IF you have an extension of stay ("the stamp"), you'll need to transfer the extension of stay from the old to the new passport. Different immigration offices have different policies, but this should work for all offices.

1. You'll need a letter from your embassy requesting the change from old passport number to new passport number

2. Photocopy each page of the old passport that have stamps or visas

3. Photocopy the data page of the new passport, and each page of the new passport that has stamps.

4. Go to the local immigration office and fill out at Transfer Stamp to A New Passport Form. Different immigration offices have different requirements.

5. There is *NO FEE* for this service. If you are asked for a fee, don't pay it.

Good luck.

Let's not do "thinks" here. Can you look in your passport and confirm?

Is it a visa (a full page sticker) or an extension of stay (a half-page stamp)? Is this for your passport, or the children's passport?
